Scottie Reid's Woodworks, Inc.

Scottie Reid and Ron Harris are the principals behind the company. Scottie started working as an apprentice carpenter in his home country of Scotland. Scottie started his Southwest Designs in 1971. Ron joined Scottie in 1997 after an extensive career in the travel business. Scottie Reid was honored by the Phoenix Home and Gardens magazine naming him a "Master of the Southwest" in 1990. This recognition was due to the craftsmanship, attention to detail and uniqueness of his body of work up to that time. He was also featured in a "This old House" episode filmed in Phoenix. Since then, Scottie Reid's Southwest Designs has grown but purposefully maintained a sense of individual attention to each project.
