Western Overhead Door Co began operations here in Hawaii in 1970. Founded by a large lumber dealer from Portland who sold it to Ernie Carlbom in 1980. They have installed over 30,000 garage doors and thousands of commercial roll-up doors and grilles here in Hawaii. In the late 80's they were designated a Banner distributor for the Overhead Door Corp.
