The Mansion Fine Furnishings

THE MANSION is a full service interior design studio and furniture showroom with two locations. Chuck Skaugstad, Jr. opened the original Iowa City location in 1980 in a historic home built in 1874. It was the perfect fit to feature fine home furnishings in a unique setting. In 2006, a second location was opened in Des Moines by Ted Irvine to serve the needs of Central Iowa. For more than 30 years, The Mansion has been the ultimate design center.
