After many years in the savings and loan industry, Chuck Stephens had a vision of creating a local mortgage company that provided face to face, superior service to its customers. This dream was realized in 1989 when he and Judy Fonda founded Premier Mortgage. After only a few years, Premier Mortgage's commitment to superior service allowed it to grow into one of Southern Colorado's leading lenders. Since the untimely passing of Mr. Stephens, Judy Fonda has taken the leadership role and guided Premier to even greater heights. In 2010 Premier Mortgage was recognized by The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce as Small Business of the Year. Mrs. Fonda has long been a supporter of our community and has served on the boards of many local organizations. She was elected to the 2001 Board of Directors of the Pueblo Economic Development Corporation and in 2009 served as their Chairperson. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Parkview Medical Center since 1995, serving in several leadership positions.
