First of all, I would like for my Georgia and Alabama home inspection customers and associates to know this: I take my job very seriously, therefore, I will inspect every property as if my Daughter is purchasing it. I will inspect every item in the home and provide a written report of every issue I find. I do inspect for the same code violations as other building inspectors, that's not what we are there for. We're primarily there to inspect any and all items the building inspector may have missed or over-looked or never inspects. I inspect the Roof of every home by using the latest in electronic technology, by using a DJI Phantom 3 or 4 Drone. Both of the Drones have 4 K cameras with zoom capabilities, which actually allows for on-site evaluation. If, there are any issues with the Roof components, I will find them, “I promise you that“. This capability also allows me to see Windows or Veneer's which are impossible to see from the ground, no matter how high they are. This video is then downloaded into my Dropbox account. I, then, make the videos available for you to view at your convenience. Please understand the "Zoom" feature of the video only works if you download a copy into your Tablet. This allows you to see and archive the videos for future viewing as well.
