Key Insulation originated in 2000 as a test within a homebuilding program in San Antonio, Texas. Once the new product, cellulose, was installed, the test catapulted the builder into ENERGY STAR efficiency and the course for the company was set. The company, based in San Antonio celebrated its 10 year anniversary under new ownership on January 6th, 2015. Acquisition by its present owner resulted in expansion into foam and cavity fill fiberglass products, providing flexibility to meet the needs and budget of the client’s projects. In 2016 we were acquired by Installed Building Products. We have a reputation of leading edge knowledge. Suppliers use our projects and our teams to test the newest technology in the installation of insulation. We are able to help you make informed decisions on the type of insulation that meets budget requirements.
