James Caldwell Construction Company was founded in 1978 by David Caldwell’s father. David worked with his father in the business until 1993, when David bought the business. The Caldwell mission has always been to provide quality construction in an ethical and professional manner. We are a full service builder that employees carpenters, painters and equipment operators. We use a few sub-contractors with whom we have long-term relationships. We are celebrating 40 years! We are located at the top of the mountain in Roaring Gap, N.C. near the Blue Ridge Parkway and Stone Mountain State Park. We serve High Meadows Country Club, Olde Beau Golf Club, Roaring Gap Club, Alleghany County NC and Grayson County Virginia. We specialize in custom renovation and new homes. Our construction staff allows us to take care of our clients, from screen door repair to turn key new construction.
