Alex Kanevsky, the founder, creative and motivating force behind ALKA Flooring, LLC studies woodcarving for 35 years ago. He used this knowledge to move into cabinet making and whole-house remodeling, but for the past 20 years, Alex has focused solely on his floor covering business. Alex combines studied art and engineering in his native Moscow, Russia and uses all of his experience to provide a great balance between state-of-the-art style in combination with the latest in floor covering solutions. Alex is a very experienced craftman, artists and engineer with an impressive background having lived in Moscow, New York City and for many years, in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. With new floor covering products and technologies changing constantly, Alex spends a great deal of time and effort working with clients to select the best product based on esthetics, time and budget.
